We all face many transitions in life.
As a mother of four, I’ve experienced the joys of parenting, as well as its many challenges–including the simultaneous pride and anguish that comes with sending children off to college. After years of full-time caregiving, and community volunteer work I returned to the workforce, a transition that was both exhilarating and daunting at times. Unfortunately, along the way, I have also endured the heartbreaking losses of family and friends.
While these transitions have been challenging, they have made me more resilient. As a result, when faced with changes, I recover quicker and move forward with optimism. My life experience coupled with my training and work as a social worker, enables me to help my clients with the difficulties they face during and after their own life transitions.
